About The Founder
The founder of Jawahar Tea, Late Shri Udhawdas Muralidar Rohra Ji, began his journey in Kolkata with Parsaram Paroumal & Co. as a Tea Taster in the export division.
With deep knowledge and expertise in identifying quality tea, he later moved to Secunderabad in 1961 and started his own company — Jawahar Tea.
His exceptional skill was recognized at the national level. He was honoured by Shri Jawaharlal Nehru Ji, the first Prime Minister of India, for his remarkable ability in blindfold tea tasting.
